You were also way off with your splatoon prediction.  So I'll serve you the extra crow.  I personally never made any splatoon or FF predictions because something just didn't feel right.  lots were saying splatoon would sell shit but there was an underground hype I could feel.  And FF15 just never felt right given it was FF13 versus rebranded and we all know how FF13 went down.  

I'm glad I went with my gut and stayed away from predicting them because I prefer serving the crow rather than eating it.  

@this post: ps4 has nothing to worry about.  It's going to sell just fine compared to its predecessor no matter what Nintendo do.

so despite what everyone says abt FFXV preorder, FFXV still looks better on paper (or at least in comg) than any ps4 games out there. At the same time, I have to say 1m sales seems like an impossible mission for any ps4 games. Maybe in lifetime sales, ffxv can beat splatoon, but right now, i;m just doubtful

I've got a feeling that the pre orders for FF XV will start to pick up very soon. Or at least I really hope so, September is around the corner and having FF XV open with a very low number for the series' standards would be atrocious.

Unless some kind of miracle happens, Final Fantasy XV doesn't have a chance against Splatoon. One year ago I wouldn't have said the same thing, but it's pretty evident now.

I'm quite happy for Berseria if its the case. They are totally going down the wrong path with that series and need a wake up call.

You do know you are comparing a game with a 144.000 launch with a game that sold 690.000 units on launch and still has some holiday ahead of it. At least I presume Japanese people celebrate some form of Christmas or new year. If it doesn't beat 850k by years end you might have a point. But it isn't going to come that far I guess, maybe Sony even makes a FFXV bundle which would probably utterly destroy Splatoon on Wii U sales wise in Japan.
