I'm suspicious of how real it is, as well. Personally, if my wife gave birth to something like that, the last thing either of us would want is somebody filming it.

And I know for a fact that the majority of the public would feel the same way.

But, considering they weren't speaking English in the video, there could be a cultural difference to factor in here.

@epsilon72: I read the wiki page and it doesn't describe what I see in the video. I believe you've given it a wrong prognosis. This baby doesn't seem to be missing part of it's brain, just an enlarged head, no body and deformed legs. It seems completely different.

Edit: Ok I watched the video again and I was wrong, it's missing part of it's skull.

@AoA: You're a gross bugger for getting me to watch 2 videos about kids with this sad deformity!

DarkNight, are you kidding? Look at the top of the baby's freakin' head! Holy crap, how can you NOT see that it's missing the majority of the top of its head?

 

It obviously has something besides anencephaly wrong with it, but that's obviously one of the problems.
