They do, for the most part, have the same games lineup. My most played games this gen are:
Titanfall
Evolve
Mordor
Destiny
Dead Rising 3
Among other mostly 3rd party multiplat games. So with these games, as I prefer XBL to PSN and the Xbone controller, there's no reason for me to buy them on PS4 over Xbone. So the PS4 doesn't get used. "99% the same games" doesn't solve my issue (or really matter, when we're talking about individual taste). And it's my issue. I'm not saying or implying it's everyones issue. And IDGAF about metacritic. The whole point of my post was people have their own opinions.
The only way RareReplay compares to a remaster on PS4 is if Sony somehow strings together deals to get games from the 80's and 90's into one well crafted collection. And the closest thing to MCC on PS4 is the Drake Collection, but none of those games are remade, and they don't even include MP, so it's still a far cry. This is one of the issues with the re-releases on PS4, they're all pretty much still fairly new PS3 games thus far. How about a SOCOM HD with multiplayer? Crash Bandicoot remade? The Getaway remade or at least vastly improve the graphics and frame rate? Syphon Filter trilogy remade? Something besides lazy PS3 updates.
People can have issue with this and not just be zany Xbots playing console wars.
