I remember in like 2008 when I got a FREE Xbox 360 with the purchase of my $700-800 laptop.

This is kind of the same situation. Microsoft is probably paying samsung $250-300 per TV in this bundle. Its not really that bad a deal for them as i'm guessing its the plain Xbox One meaning they are selling the XB1 at ~ $200-300. Which is reasonably around where they are at right now ($350 - Game and other throw ins).

I have am just waiting for the bundle where they give you a free PS4 with it. Then it will sell like crazy.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.
