I've never even heard of the game Banjoo before... Whats it about?

I must admit the advertising for this price-cut has been lackluster to say the best (so far anyway) and i don't expect that to change too drastically!

Half the population of this site has been telling me that is exactly the case..........

But you forget that past installments of Fable and Banjo were actually good.........

BK3 : we dont even know if the game is hardcore or casual ... and BK3 is a Ninty game so I doubt Wii owners will buy a Xbox360 to play 1 game.

Fable2 : too much hardcore

"Good"...BK was BRILLIANT at the time but both of them aren't lets say "popular"

I was thinking more...like 65,000 this week and 75,000 next week....after a month or so it will taper down to 55,000 or so.

I think this pricecut will have an effect on the Guitar Hero playing, GTAIV playing, Halo/Forza playing casual. The kind of person who still has or buys a PS2 and buys a few games. A few of my friends are like that. Theres a lot of overlap between the kind of person who buys guitar hero/rock band and GTAIV. They are quite price sensitive, so this is Microsofts first real stab at this market. If they get them all they could sustainably beat the PS3 in Europe.

Also look for this to have the greatest impact in England and not so much in the other European countries.

If I had to give my predictions...

I think that the price cut won't increase sales by very much, but that sales in both the United Kingdom and Italy will increase quite a bit.

I dare to say that xb360 will win Others next week! (If it doesn't then M$ should kiss Others goodbye and focus on US

 I wouldn't go to that extreme but MS should start thinking about how to drastically change their approach.
