I think this pricecut will have an effect on the Guitar Hero playing, GTAIV playing, Halo/Forza playing casual. The kind of person who still has or buys a PS2 and buys a few games. A few of my friends are like that. Theres a lot of overlap between the kind of person who buys guitar hero/rock band and GTAIV. They are quite price sensitive, so this is Microsofts first real stab at this market. If they get them all they could sustainably beat the PS3 in Europe.
Also look for this to have the greatest impact in England and not so much in the other European countries.
