Just like the WiiU is getting Project Cars!

As in you think NX is still to weak to run FFXV + FF7 remake?

As in i wouldn't hold out hope for games until theyre actually available, unless theyre being made by first party, and even then..   can we really be certain Zelda U wont end up Zelda NX?

Do you remember when people bought Wii Us to play Call of Duty and Ass Creed 2012 despite already owning a console the games were going to be released? I expect the same if this ever happens.

Quite true.

Hard to deny that if the NX had Zelda + Final Fantasy as a leading proposition - that it'd be a damn good one. Probably the best to come up with the NX if Nintendo were really serious about propping up 3rd party support and increasing marketshare in home consoles.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Difference here is that WiiU didn't launch with a kickass Zelda game. Though I suppose that assumption of mine wasn't evident in the OP.

If NX is a home console and at par with what PS4/X1. Then getting FF VII: remake, FF XV and DQ XI, it would really atleast turn the tide and get those gamers to own an NX. I know it is just targeted to RPG demographic, but adding diversity and AAA games would really help NX.

Plus knowing the release dates of those game, which we think is around 2017. NX is a possibility.

I seen this thread before. I expect the same haters posting the same negative comments. Maybe it will happen, maybe it wont. Personally, I don't see why not.

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

Honestly, it would be great.

I would still play those games on the PS4 because i think the NX will be weaker and the ports would probably get downgraded or something.

Still, everything that helps home consoles in Japan is great for people who love home console games, specially JRPGs.

FFXV looks very demanding. The NX would need to be a strong console for it to run it.
Im expecting the NX to be really cheap, but less powerfull than the PS4.

I can't wait to play FFXV and FF7R.....on PS4.

Honestly, gamers looking forward to those titles are likely/already set on the console they want to play them on and there's a high chance NX wasn't even considered. Sure it would be a great incentive, but I think gamers would like to see something new from Nintendo instead.

If a first party game is the one going to make the difference then Nintendo should focus on making more first party games, not in getting multiplats on board.
