both sony and microsoft money hat, thats just business

Don't lie. Microsoft moneyhats.

Sony makes use of strategic incentivised content acquisitions.

This can get seriously wrong.

I'm saying at this moment I don't think the CoD marketing is important to MS. MS has a lot of money invested in games to push this holiday, Sony has no notable exclusives to push so they're leaning on multiplats. Sony needs to market something, why not CoD?

Does marketing CoD discourage people from playing CoD on the competitors platform? I don't think so. Does PS4 need the CoD marketing deal to succeed this holiday? No.

I honestly don't understand this part. You seem to be contradicting yourself, while also writing a lot of nonsense in between.

MS has a lot invested this holiday? Really? They only have 1 (ONE) exclusive game, and that's Halo. One more than Sony, woohoo! Of course, you will count TR, which is neither exclusive (as it's a cross-gen title), and cost them nothing but a little "passion".

And then, since they are investing sooooo much in their games this holiday, and poor Sony needs CoD to even be relevant, they go and invest into Fallout 4 marketing? Even though they don't need it and even though it comes out the same day as their "passion project".

Yeah, you can repeat MS mantra all you want, but it doesn't make anything you say true. It just makes you seem silly when trying to repeat Spencer's spin as truth, when anybody with a smidge of common sense can see the full picture.

starcraft did a great job explaining what I'm saying to you, I don't even feel the need elaborate much beyond that.

Phil Spencer wants to have games and market games of every major genre. If MS didn't have significant shooters to push this holiday they might have been more aggressive about getting the CoD deal. But this year, the CoD was more important to Sony for obvious reasons.

People say Sony got the CoD deal because its the dominant platform. Yet MS somehow has deals for Fallout 4, Fifa, Madden, and even a major exclusive for a year. This just proves you can make things happen with money, its not just about market share.

Nobody is saying it's only because of marketshare. Everybody says just like you - a mixture of marketshare and money.

Only Phil Spencer claims marketshare doesn't matter at all, which is both nonsense and bullshit and why he deserves to be called out and ridiculed like a true clown that he is.

In regard to CoD marketing, its all about who is paying Activision for marketing and not market share.

MS could lockdown FFXV marketing if they desired. SE would gladly take the money because Sony fans will buy FFXV is droves regardless. Refer to FFXIII advertising if you dont believe.

You mean the same company who bought Minecraft ip for 2 billion dollars or the same company that is getting bundle deals and exclusives for Fifa and Madden? Yeah, that makes total sense.

Fella, they're getting turned away because they're getting beaten soundly by Sony. Spencer has said this to try and spin a negative for MS fans to follow and sure enough, they follow.

Or maybe they want to focus on idk.... making AAA GAMES. So far Sony hasn't been doing a great job in that regard and in 2016 it looks like it will be a little better, but not much SF5, Uncharted 4, RC remake (I think). TLG or Horizion I can almost bet you one if not both games be delayed into 2017 (sony isn't 100% confident in TLG releasing in 2016).

I'll take that bet.

Real world cash good for you?

$4,000 says TLG releases 2016       :)

1st. No it doesn't, the ps4 has hardly any AAA titles. All they have right now is Bloodborne (great game), lbp3 (terrible, made from a trashy development company and I don't know if it is consider AAA) and Infamous (decent game).

2nd. LOL. This is a joke right? Outside of UK (which xbox one is doing alright in) USA matches and beats all the other EU countries combine. USA is neck to neck with EU when you include UK with a slight lead as we speak.

Actually, if you look at the new games on vgchartz out side of bundles, the overall sales aren't too far apart. When holidays come with Halo 5, black friday deals and bundles should xbox one should beat PS4 in North America by quite a lot. As long as xbox keeps getting this amount of support for USA, no big - medium third party developer is going to skip on xbox one unless Sony pays them. There is too much money left on the table for AAA publishers / developers to skip Xbox unless it is some niche jap game.

1) What AAA quality game Xbone has? None if you use your metric... Bloodborne itself is better than any MS exclusive launched.

2) Joke? EU combined sells more consoles than US... that is a fact... sells more software too... PS4 sold close to 8m units in US... in EU it already crossed 10m... just because Xbone sell less in EU than US didn't make the market is small... overall (combining all consoles) EU sell more than US... it is bigger.

3) That don't change PS4 sells close to 2x more multiplat than Xbone.

You made 3 baseless/wrong comments.

Priceless, there is one bad thing though, most inmature kids will go to ps now... even though there was already some
