For 3DS of course is difference because in October is released The New Version. And for PS4, as i Said, is not always The worse month, it did better than usually but still pretty badly.
So, yeah, usually in Japan the worse month is October, in The other countries depend, usually is August for The Europe and May for The US.

In October 2014 New 3DS was launched. Remove the New 3DS and October becomes the worst month indeed.

You Are wrong and i am 100% sure that The worst month for Vita is October, which was for 2 weeks under 10k, The only month of 2014 when Vita was under 10k was October.
Surprised Date A Live + IA/VT combo couldn't increase Vita sales. Sengoku Basara 4 dropping hard, Batman has started the grind to 100k.
It's great to see Animal Crossing selling consoles when even YWB couldn't. Famitsu has Super Run For Money selling 5k this week so it did not vanish completely.
