It will be on Wii U, one year later on the pachinko NX

Skipping the Wii U would be breaking both an implicit and explicit promise to current owners that the system would be getting its own Zelda game.
That said, if NX is home console, than it should be there too. It is too soon for another Smash or MKart (unless they are remastered too), so Zelda would be the big(gest?) IP in the new console for some years. It is also a hell of a launch title.

it will be on Wii U, the question is whether it'll be an exclusive or not.

There doesn't need to be.

Why not? She is likeable enough.

Releasing the game on both the Wii U and the NX would be breaking that promise as well, since every Nintendo home console before it had its own exclusive Zelda release.
But I´d rather see Zelda skip the Wii U than do getting an inferior version just to satisfy Wii U owners.
It's ironic how some people feel they can be "100% certain" of something for which they actually know relatively little actual facts or details about. Yes, the Wii U is sluggish in the sales department, which is a damn shame. But if anything, Iwata's death is not going to suddenly make them shy away from his "We're going to support the Wii U and satisfy Wii U owners" statement. They're more than likely to double down on that sentiment. And I say: good.
I've said repeatedly, on a personal level, that I do not want to see the next Nintendo system come out till 2017. If they release "NX" next year, it will, to me, very much feel like them "pulling a Sega". Because that is exactly what Sega did with both the Saturn and the Dreamcast: rushing it out to market undercooked, when they should have waited. That has thus far never been Nintendo's style, and I would hope that it wouldn't suddenly start being their style now. I would like to believe that they will do what they've always done, and not just suddenly freak out and cave to investor pressure. You should never operate your business based on what investors think. You should do what you think is best, period.
And to me, NX coming out in 2016, "undercooked", with very likely not enough games available for it, is not going to solve anything. 2017 gives both Nintendo and their partners and internal dev teams, as WELL as third party companies, more time to actually develop games for the damn thing. If they release in 2016, I just feel like it's going to in many ways be a Wii U situation all over again, where they don't have enough games ready, and there will just be more droughts, etc. They need to handle this whole situation better.
And as far as Zelda itself goes...while I concede that it is entirely possible Nintendo just might pull a TP scenario again, I think it would be smart of them not to. Yes, on the one hand, it could certainly help sell the NX. But on the other hand, there's only so many times you can piss on fans before they just quit on you. Not that Nintendo has a history of doing so, but with the TP scenario, while some fans didn't care, MANY other fans were pretty displeased to think that not only was the game coming out on their new console first, but that it was likely the "better" version. That wound up not being the case, as far as "better" goes. But this time, it just might be. And that is just going to make the Wii U version feel less special, or even pointless, to many people.
I think they'd be far better served to just cook up a new 3D Mario as a launch title for NX, along with whatever other games, and leave this Zelda as a "Swan song" title for Wii U. That way, many gamers could at least feel like "Well, you know, Wii U has had it's problems, but it's got some great games, and one bad ass Zelda, so it's all good". They are going to be far less inclined to feel that way, if the game is just going to be available on their next system also. That will sour many people. And while I feel the Nintendo brand and fan loyalty are stronger than was the case for Sega, it still bears repeating that that is precisely what happened with the Dreamcast. Many Genesis fans were very much soured by how Sega handled, and then prematurely abandoned, the Saturn, and thus there were in fact many Sega gamers who simply said "Fuck it", and didn't even buy a Dreamcast, but rather moved on to PS1 or PS2 (or even Xbox or Gamecube). The way Sega handled the Saturn/Dreamcast situation, really pissed off a lot of fans, and lost them a great amount of fan confidence and loyalty. I really don't think Nintendo wants to go for any version of that.
So just saying, to me, releasing NX in 2017, and NOT porting Zelda to it, or straight out moving the game exclusively to NX, would be their best move. They simply don't need to. Let Wii U have it's (hopefully) awesome Zelda game. And they can make an exclusive NX Zelda further down the road.

If Nintendo realase NX next year it want be "very much feel like them "pulling a Sega" at all. Sega discontinued Saturn after round 4 years, and discontinued Dreamcast only after around 2 years. Wii U probably will not be discontinued before 2017-2018, so at least 5 years before discontinued. Nintendo releasing NX next year would be very much feel like Microsoft done with original Xbox, Xbox was around 4 years on market before release Xbox 360, and all we know how popular Xbox 360 was despite. Also Nintendo home consoles have lifespan of around 5 years, so one year less for their worst selling home console ever isn't big deal.
If Nintendo will really release NX next year they will surely have well prepared launch, and they will certainly work to not repeat Wii U mistakes.
As for the NX games, we can be certain that they already some Wii U project move to NX and that they start to work on some NX games in 2014. We also had some informations that Nintendo already showed NX hardware 3rd parties at E3.
Regrading Zelda, I think for Nintendo best move would be to pull again TO, beacue after Wii U they need very strong launch and great 1s year games. Yes Wii U in that case want have exclusive Zelda game but Wii U owner will still get Zelda U game. They done that with GC and its not like fans abandoned them because that, I think most fans will understand regarding Wii U sales.
I think new 3D Mario and Zelda U port will be launch titles for NX, that would be pretty strong launch.
In Zelda sense, NX will be like Wii, it will have one ZElda port and one new Zelda.
they will pull a TLOU with zelda. release it on wiiu next year and remaster it for the nx one year later, so everybody is happy.
releasing the game at the same time on both consoles is stupid, people not gonna buy it twice than.

So you saying releasing TP on GC and on Wii was stupid!?
