Forums - Gaming - Metacritic Games 2015: PS4 is the number 1

WE ALL LOVE VIDEOGAMES - This is no theory, this is a fact. The topic: The PS4 has the most games and the best 2015. you can see that on metacritic. Also on ign.com there is a listing of all games. This year is very interesting, i think.

Number of previous 75+ titles for each console, according to Metacritic in 2015:

PS4:   53
Xbox1:   27
wiiu: 8

PC: 61

So the thread title is wrong. But I'm sure PC doesn't count for... reasons. ;)

Considering most of the games are just remasters or ps3 direct ports (like bastion). Should we include the Wii U backwards compatibility or soon to be xbox one compatibility?

Yes. And PS Now. I want these stupid lists to take 12 hours to factually make.

Nope, PSNow (ps3/ps4 streaming) doesn't count. You still require a ps3 to play those games. Like saying a good chunk of ps4 games is part of vita library or xbox one games now available for pc and vice versa. You still need the other gaming system in some form or way.

MGS5 will get top, hopefully.

But what about all games above 30?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

You do not need a PS3 to use PSNow. As a matter if fact, you don't even need any console to use it.

Where do you think the ps3 games come from? You are basically renting a ps3 from a distant location.

How does that answer in any way disprove his point?

Statement: You don't need a PS3 for PSNow because you can play it on other devices
Counter statement: You are effectively renting a PS3

I think it clearly shows how you are the sort of person that just can't accept you're wrong.

The PS5 Exists.

I think these comparisons become more and more useless since the definition of what games are available on a console is becoming more and more difficult.

@Snoopy - What is all the fuzz about my friend, even if we decided not to count games that are available in other platforms and remasters.

The PS4 beats every other console in the market in games released in 2015. Because lets be honest the XB1 has not received a single exclusive after Sunset Overdrive.

Edit: It also beats PC in games scored 90 or above. But for the 75 and above category PC is king.

My arugument above.

And yes, you do need a ps3 in some form or way to play psnow games. You are basically renting a ps3 with psnow.
