Forums - Nintendo - I completed the Subspace Emissary. Wow, that was so awesome!

1. All characters should be Nintendo characters from previous games.
2. All levels should be recreated levels, from previous games.
3. Too long.
4. Repetitive.
5. Rocks fall through platforms, instead of rolling off of them.

Other than that, it's fine, but I find that I enjoy the cut scenes, more than the platform aspects of the game.

I cannot fully complete the Exterior/Interior of the Halberd levels. I've done every area in it and I cannot seem to complete it 100%...

I know with the Interior one there's a cracked ceiling you only blow up with a Cracker Launcher (kill the near-by enemies to get one) and you'll find a gold box. That one drove me crazy. Drawing a blank on what the exterior one could be.

SPOILERS I was blown away when the Halbird got totaled by that blast from Gannon and BowserSPOILERS

What does it mean when a stage is glowing? I only have 86% so far, so I'm assuming I left something behind, because other stages have a flag on them.

That means there's something left to in that stage I believe.  The color of the flag is the highest difficulty you completed it on AFAIK.

I actually disliked the Sonic part the most... I mean... he's just there.... he doesn't really have any interaction with the rest of the story.

To me it made it feel like the boss was supposed to be Sony or something and Sonic was one of the last pissed off survivors of Sega land after Sony totally destroyed it. Showing that while Sega was down Sonic at least was there to help beat the "evil destroyer of videogame worlds".

Which I really hope wasn't the intent. Well it couldn't be. Wouldn't explain why snake was stealth helping... unless he was a double agent do to him being on a Nintendo console first.

I'm probably reading to much into it...

I think you're projecting.

Sonic's entrance was a little anti-climatic (though still great).

Hey now, I like all the playstation consoles... and will eventually own a PS3 and likely a PSP as well.  Assuming bills don't cut into my discretionary income too much in any case.  Even if they do i'd likely pick them up second hand next generation.

I think I just thought that way becuase the entrance was just so... I don't know.  I couldn't figure out why he was there at all... it felt like there needed to be a whole side story as to how he got there.... so I had to find a reason to put him in there, and since there were no Sega characters anywhere in the SSE another dimension seemed most likely, kinda how in Captain N they had different "lands."

Most of it I did co-op with my friend Gimic300. But I beat the rest without him. That was so fun. I don't know why some people didn't like it or at least didn't enjoy it as much as I did.

Do you you like the SSE? Favorite parts? Least favorite parts?

I loved the whole damn thing! 500 times better than the puny adventure mode of Melee!!!

My favorite part was the big maze at the end. It really felt like a Castlevania game, and I liked how it was lain out. I bet most people hated that part though.

Didn't overstay its welcome, but towards the end, I was kinda ready to just get my chars unlocked and get to Brawlin.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I love the SSE, so much damn better than Melee's one...

Tabuu has that annoying wing attack that instant KOs you if you don't act fast but anyway... I died on him twice and finally beat him a third time >:D

BTW: The Great Maze, for some reason.. didn't bother me like it did to a lot of others. o.O

I don't want a signature.

I just finished it a second ago. I hated it.

I liked Peach's tea party the best....SSE started out extremely fun and got boring as the levels dragged on. Awsome addition to SSBB though.
