Was thinking the exacct same thing. This sounds cool enough having said that though it's not really my kinda thing.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

For those not knowing what Loot Crate is: https://www.lootcrate.com/

Interesting.

Never was too interested in Loot Crate, since I'm not a huge fan of things like Doctor Who or Star Wars, but something similar featuring solely Nintendo stuff sounds cool.

(And yes, I know they once did that amiibo promotion with Loot Crate.)

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Is this the first time some huge international company made a service and announced for the UK only? I feel so special, this must be how American's feel ;)

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

I really hopes this comes to NA, as I enjoy Lootcrate itself but a Nintendo Lootcrate would be very sweet!

The main factor will be the products themselves.
Club Nintendo always had some Nintendo-themed memorabilia, this would be a good replacement for those that want physical goods. I say that because I think the new membership program Nintendo will implement a more traditional club service with discounts and benefits that go towards sales and digital game releases. Has there been any news on whether they will use their own form of online currency or use local users' currency? I little off topic, but curious if there's anything that may have leaked...

This could be huge. Wow. Specifically because of how successful Amiibo have been. If they can find a way to tie the box to games the way Amiibo does, this could be the modern Nintendo Power. If they do this right, this will make them a shit load and be fantastic for their brand.

Especially if they get parents to subscribe.

If Nintendo is so stuck in the past why do they keep doing stuff like this before the other guys
