No, If EA Access was exclusive or available for PS4, guess what... I still wouldnt want it. I dont want to pay to play a demo, and I dont want to pay to get a game a few days early. Also I dont really much care for most of EA's output over the last few years, it's really gone a bit downhill for me.

Drop the excuse please. You dont have  an xbox one, do you?

No I dont have an XBO....You dont know me, so stop with the rediculous slating of people because they dont fit in with your opinion.

I have a differing opinion than you, so what..... stop being so childish.

How childish am I for speaking the brutal truth lol. Can I expect alittle bit objective opinion from someone without xbox one on a service exclusive on xbox one. Get and xbox one and subscribe EA Access for a month then we can talk about different opinions.

EA Access is the app that is going to hurt Sony in the long run. They had the opportunity to have it and turned it down. So to be fair they asked for it. When more releases come out in the future like the next Crysis or Dead Space game, its really going to benefit Xbox a lot.

You don't actually need to own an item to have an opinion on a feature.  I don't have an XB1 yet, and when I get it I don't plan on getting EA Access.  My reasoning is simple.  I only really care about 2 of EA's current franchises: Dragon Age and Mass Effect.  When I buy them it will be on PS4 as it is the more capable hardware.  The 6 bucks I save per game every 2 years or so (on average based on the releases) isn't worth the 30 bucks a year for the largely annual franchises that I don't play anyway and the early access to them.

Now, if EA puts out a few more compelling games for me and the savings become better than 3 bucks a year for me?  Great, I re-evaluate.  See how that works?  :p

So you dont know Dragon Age will be added to the vault later this summer(probably August) according EA's announcement around E3?

Are you suggesting people who dont have something cannot have an opinion? Are you saying I need to have a subscription service to know if I like the idea of it or not. I am technically knowledagble and a pretty heavy gamer, I think I can work out if the games they are offering and the service they have are what I want... or are you saying you were incapable of knowing if it was something you wanted until you purchased one... Your opinion is subjective.... not objective.

A different user said it already in this thread:

"Don't forget that their job is to make money, and to find new ways to make more money."

This applies to all companies, no exception. Sony saying "we don't see value for our customers" has to be read like "we didn't see how this will bring us more money so we left it out but say it so to keep our face to loyal customers".

If it really hurts them, we have to see. I doubt it because Sony can do what they want as a market leader and many people will follow them, no matter what they do (to a certain extent). This won't change this gen, Sony will easily win WW because of Europe and Japan where Xbox doesn't even have the slightest chance.

Double post.  (damn)

I tend to purchase the games I want at the time they are released.  So for me the 6 months to a year later additions aren't worthwhile.  Since I am current on the series I am interested in from the company there is no appeal in the "backlog" from it either.  As I said, the day one purchasing doesn't save me enough money to cover more than 10% of the cost of the service per year.  To me that isn't a valuable service.  The more they expand on it the more likely I will be to get it.  That expansion will need to be more than annual sports franchises, shooter games, and the series I already play though.

Not really. It reads where are the mods to get people back on topic.

As you can see, even you can post unrelated topics and have fun this mess. Enjoy the thread.
