Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft's E3 Conference dominated social media

Why would sales worry Xbox fans, lol? Maybe MS investors, but even then, they make shit tons of money outside of Xbox, that even poor Xbox sales would be a non-issue, let alone sales that are good, just not as good as the PS4.

I mean, were the PS360 not good consoles or were they trash because the Wii outsold them? Or wait, sales aren't always indicative of quality?

No, sales shouldn't worry any Xbox fan.

Actually they are not buying X1's because they are waiting for a special kind of bundle(or 2 if their partnership with Bethesda is any indication).

Well this holiday will tell us if it worked or not. I don't doubt people love their games, as I do too, however sales will tell us in the end. However Europe is a total loss at the moment. So NA and some other areas are still at play.

Why would the Microsoft E3 announcements of Last Month would affect Holiday sales specifically and not like right now? It doesnt make any sense.

Because the damn games they are releasing, is that not the reason for the conference, to let you know what they plan on doing this holiday and next year.

I'm suprised that question even had to be asked, not like every game announced/shown at E3, releases during E3. lol.

It's the small victories.

Should it worry Xbox fans that even with such a amazing victory, the Xbox One still lost in the US that month?

You guys do realise how easily it is to make these statistics to suite an agenda. Xbox vs Playstation (exclude PS4) profit.

No what should worry people is that someone made a statistic like this and thought "Yup that seems about right" and that even serious gaming website are picking this up and think "Yup, this seems about right". Let me say this very clearly, the X1 did not hold 74% of twitter mentions during E3 among it, the PS4, Wii U and PC, that number is utter bullshit.

playstation conference was more viewed if you count the youtube livestreams. Sony streamed in like 12 different lkanguages on youtube

If Sony did have the more popular conference in twitch views, stating that wouldn't be spinning as their demo's and trailer's absolutely dominate the others shown at E3. Showing they obviously did have the more popular conference.

You're basically saying because MS said it, it's a spin but if Sony did, it wouldn't? For one thing, that doesn't even make sense. Having a 'better conference' wouldn't have an effect on  viewership because that's something which couldn't even be termined until all conferences are over. Second, Nobody even knew those suprise announcements would happen until they made them, so they didn't have much of an effect on viewshipping to begin with.

Main reasons why MS had a larger viewership.
-Time of the conference(biggest factor)
-first of the big three
-Halo 5 gameplay (everyone knew it would be there)

If MS was the most popular conference and stated this fact, it would not be spinning. The fact that they obviously were not and are stating this make it a spin.
