But thats what I am saying, last gen it ended up being 12m+ difference, at the moment the PS4 is 770k infront... which is massive for the PS4... If it continues like this (which at the moment there is no reason to suggest otherwise), the XBO will be 12m+ down on what the 360 was, while the PS4 will be up 12m. Taking into account the rest of the world where the gap is 3, 4, even more :1 then thats why it's a big difference).
Sorry if it's not clear, but i think you get the point that even if MS close that 770k gap or even go slightly ahead, the PS4 if it followed last gens path would be 12m to the better, but as the point i was trying to make the rest of the world isnt following last gen, it's heavily in favour of PS4... so it should turn out into a massive worldwide difference.
I really think MS might move to the next gen sooner rather than later... 5 years max, they'll want to move on from this disaster imho.

You say that but I can't ever see MS allowing XB1 to be outsold in the US over 30 months in a row. The gap will not be the same as 360 PS3 because MS goes all out for its holidays.

Gah but thats my point.... LOL.
It doesnt matter that the PS4 doesnt beat the XB1 over 30 months in a row or not, it means already if we were just doing a comparison to last gen at it's end taking into account USA being equal WW it would be : PS4 80m and XBO 68m... that's *Before* we take into account the slaughter that is rest of the world.
In other words, Sony is probably fine and dandy at USA being equal, because everywhere else is in PS4 favour. MS dropped the ball by making the USA it's primary market, NFL/TV.... they messed up and the sales will end up showing that. We could probably do the same comparison to the UK, where again the PS4 is beating the XBO but last gen lost out to it by a few million wasnt it?
