I liked the dc animated movie all star superman take on sun exposure better. he went pop due to over exposure.. though he did get heluva smarter, faster, and stuff like that, but still..

Only character more anoying than superman is goku.. u know, ssj, ssj2, ssj3, ssj4, ssj5 probably, then ssj6 and on and on and on and stops at ssj god or something...

wait, that happened already in battle of gods...ahahahaha...

Well, the sad part is that superman actually did resist mater manipulation in a comic. not sure if its really canon, ridiculous as it is, it happened.

Like I said some pages ago. 

Powerset wise, Dr. Manhattan's powerset should, would, and could beat superman's powerset

its like

flying brick vs high end matter manipulator = high end matter manipulator wins

but when we bring in the character themselves

its superman, everyones favorite flying boyscout with evolving powers and whose origin story has so many retcons i don't know what it is anymore, vs dr. manhattan, a blue godlike being who doesn't have the decency to wear pants.

Superman wins due to pis, cis, and whater else you can think off.

You still haven't answered me.

Manhattan could teleport them both so far away from any star that Supes wouldn't be able to recharge his power, and when Supes eventually does run out of energy, Manhattan will destroy him.

Should I just assume that the reason you didn't reply is because you realized there's nothing Supes could with it? Because there isn't anything Supes could do about it.

He is not the smartest guy in the world and he is psychologically vulnerable. Maybe you could even force him to commit suicide, somehow. I am sure if you give Ozimandias a few more billions he could come up with a new twisted plan.

That wasn't an actual fight, which I assume is what this would be though. And also, as far as I know, Supes isn't the smartest guy on earth, unlike Ozimandias. I also don't think Supes has the funding Ozimandias has.

 

But then again, that's rather irrelevant, as I presume this would be a face to face fight.

Time for me to super-geek.

There was a character in the DCU called Triumph. He got turned into I've by the Spectre after going bad. Anyway, during a Grant Morrison storyline (involving genies if I remember correctly) even Superman said Triumph could kill him by turning off the solar radiation in his cells.

You guys don't think Dr. Manhattan could do that?
