Looks like there will be a fix released for this soon enough! I always turn mine on at the back so never have the problem of it turning back on, also saves power :D

Thats a remote play error. I dont know why that shit happens. Maybe someone else in the world is browsin your stuff and wasnt finished yet?
But very true, last firmare update was a failure.
If you pull out the power cord and it still won´t shut down THEN you have a problem....
Check your remote play settings and see if Remote Start or whatever is enabled. If it is, turn it off, that is what is most likely causing your PS3 to boot up unexpectedly.
