This game was so disappointing. Very lazy cash-in, in my opinion.

Its over halfway there now and if it doesn't do it the next movie which also has the Minions, Despicable Me 3 will do it.  Well its actually more then halfway there now with this weekend numbers it already at $625 millon world wide its legs have to die off pretty soon in order for it not to make it to one billion.

If its world wide total is anywhere close to $800 million by next Monday you can pretty much put it in the bank.

Well its close enough to $800 million now that its pretty much guaranteed to make more then a billion world wide eventually. Plus it looks like it will get released in China after all since imdb now lists a September 13th release date for it.

It has little competition so I'm sure it will reach at least 800 million.

It's $40M away from $800M and that's 60% from its worldwide gross this week-end.

China will be deciding factor now as long as it does slightly better there then DM2 it will hit a billion world wide.  But actually if its legs stay decent it already could be at one billion by the time it opens there on September 13th.

It will be over 800 million by next Monday and it will have at least two more month in theaters after that.  Actually its theater run including its discount run should last until early November.

I don't get it when movies that are already available on home video still run in discount theaters its cheaper to just rent it from Redbox then to see it at a discount theater.
