F1 2015 Reportedly Broken At Launch On PC; Codemasters Reponds To User Complaints

Batman: Arkham Knight might not be the only latest major release on PC that was broken at launch as people are reporting major issues with F1 2015 on PC. This can also be seen in the Steam reviews of the game, which are mostly negative so far.

There is currently a huge thread on Steam that is full of complaints about the game. People are reporting various issues ranging from inconsistent performance, lack of SLI support, massive input lag and problems related to input method in the game. It is quite clear from all the comments that the game is a huge mess on PC.

F1 2015 currently runs at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on the Xbox One. Both versions of the game target 60 fps for the game. It is rather strange to see that the PC version has received the less attention among all the platforms, but Codemasters is not keeping silent and they have noticed the issues present in the PC version.

Codemaster’s Community Manager seems to have taken notice of these issues, as he posted his reply on reddit assuring they are working on fixing the PC version.

Hey everyone, just wanted to hop in and say we’re aware of a lot of the issues users are facing at the moment and the team are working on getting a lot of these bugs squashed as fast as possible.

As always we really do appreciate your feedback and patience with us while we get these sorted.

Thanks.

Hopefully this means that they are working on fixing the game on PC, otherwise it could end up in a similar situation to the recently released Batman: Arkham Knight, which received a huge backlash because of its broken port on PC.

Let us know what you think about this news in the comments below.

This is becoming a trend. Sad.

It's interesting that we're getting a lot of these articles now. I mean, it's kind of always been that way, where games on PC have some problems at launch because of all the configurations and possible hardware. Especially if you go AMD.

How typical, console gamers coming to a thread about a game having problems on PC shouting the "PC Master Race" thing trying to feel better.

Every transition from one gen of consoles to the other comes with this kind of problems to PC gamers because of the new engines, new effects, etc. It's nothing new and it's only news because PC gaming is not only not fading away, as some people want, but in fact it's increasing.
