Forums - Sales - Halo:MCC still in top 20 worldwide. No PS4 2015 Exclusive is in top 50.

He said that Bloodborne was ahead of every X1 exclusive except MCC and Titanfall. Which is wrong. Then tried to say The Order is also ahead of every X1 exclusive except MCC and Titanfall. Did you read?

If he's going to include MCC and Titanfall I don't see how you can dismiss them. But go ahead and move those goalposts.

I just showed that BB is ahead every X1 exclusive except Forza 5... that is the truth.

Now if you add console exclusive then you can say Dead Rising 3 is 0.02m ahead BB... Titanfall is well excluisve to 360, Xbone and PC and I don't think there is a word for that exclusivity (it is not console or xbox exclusive).

MCC is another case because if you count MCC like a exclusive game you will need to forget the 360 and Xbox versions... so in that way you can call TLOU:R exclusive? I don't think so... or every HD remake exclusive? That is a bit hard, no? MCC collection is exclusive to Xbone the same way GoW Collections was exclusive to PS3? We are entering in a hard way to define exclusives here.

Fact is BB (and most PS4 exclusives) are ahead Xbone exclusive with exception of Forza 5.

Can someone please explain to me what the point of this thread is? What point is the OP trying to make and why on earth does the sales chart for one random week matter at all?

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

You're obviously looking at the weekly sales and not the yearly.

2015

Hence.. Why I said weekly. and listed the EXACT weeks that I was talking about.. Thats why it helps to read more then headlines..

Also.. those are only for 2015 #'s..  and don't inlcudd units sold in 2014..   Since Halo:MCC and TLoU have outsold both Bloodborne and Order:1886 by over a million each..

You didn't say weekly or refered to weeks not once in your op. You implied something else entirely.

"Halo:MCC released November 2014 is still in TOP 20 (#19) for Worldwide games as of June 20th.. and in the top TEN (#8)  for USA for June 27th.. "

The weekly chart only shows what sold in that week alone and it doesn't show the whole picture. Just because something sold better within a week doesn't mean it's selling better consistently within a bigger timeframe. Why didn't you link any charts? Why are you only looking at a weekly chart to determine what game is selling better? Why were you comparing a 2014 game to 2015 games?

 In this year alone....

Halo: MCC sold 542,945

Bloodborne sold 1,352,821

The Order sold 980,969

The reason why I'm only showing 2015 is because two of the games are 2015 games. I wanted to show a no bullshit prospective of the situation with these games instead of skewed data.

How is looking at the sales chart for just the week ending on June 20th gonna prove that Halo 5 is gonna sell well in the Holidays? That's really just hyperbole or a distraction. Halo 5 will sell well because it's a numbered halo and games sell well during the holidays. How well Halo is fairing in the week ending on june 20th against bloodborne and the order have diddly squat to do with halo 5 selling in the holidays.

I think you just wanted to say that the PS4's exclusives aren't pushing consoles sales or game sales without catching flak for it.

"Halo:MCC released November 2014 is still in TOP 20 (#19) for Worldwide games as of June 20th.. and in the top TEN (#8)  for USA for June 27th..  "

June 20th and June 27th are the WEEKLY charts..    how does this not make sense to you?

That is why I have the positions.. That would be WHERE THEY CHARTED FOR THOSE WEEKS.   #19.. and #8..    Not sure why this is confusing.

Why does thier position in the weekly sales chart matter AT ALL? The two best selling versions of the Xbox One for June were both MCC bundles, how on earth would it not be higher up than unbundled games?

No.. The best selling bundle for X1 in June was the AC:Unity bundle.. (If we use Amazon)..   It was #27..   The Halo: MCC bundles werent until 53 and 54..    The STAND-ALONE Halo: MCC game was #28..  Which for PS4 and X1.. it was the ONLY exclusive in the top 40... on Amazon..  Wii U had Splatoon and Supersmash..

Ahh sorry, my bad. But still...I'm getting the point here, you are presenting this as some sort of evidence to prove something. What is it?

Listing the end of a week could mean that you're talking about totals, yearly, monthly or weekly sales rankings. You didn't link any charts whatsoever and just left it open. Also, it doesn't make sense to use the weekly sales charts because The weekly sales charts don't really show how well software is selling overall or on a consisent basis. I proved by showing how well each of those games sold in this year.

You should of compared Halo MCC to another game with a similar release date or similar situation. Maybe compared it to another halo. You should of did a week by week sales comparison of Halo MCC to TLOU. The order is a new IP and bloodborne is kinda a new IP.

I stated: According to VCHartz (1st line of post)

Then went on to list the weeks, and position for those weeks..  I am sorry. It can't be any more clear.. No one said what the weekly charts prove. I did not say what they proved. I stricktly listed the FACTS based on VGChartz. Everything I said was 100% true based on their charts. I did not give it any meaning. Everyone else did. I asked WHAT PEOPLE THOUGHT ABOUT IT.   I wasn't comparing to ANYTHING except what I stated in the post.

How about you read my post and not just the headline..  Since the point was asking.. What people thought of it . After i listed the info of that charts..   my question stated "What are you thoughts on this".... Also it wasn't "one random week".. As Halo: MCC has been in the top 10 for NA, and top 20 for WORLDWIDE for several weeks.
