5k would be great for this kind of game. But maybe more since he said "much bigger"

Maybe 8-10k then?

Can you blame us? We don't have much else besides Ninty's exclusives >.<

But you rarely buy third party games. :p That's my point, that's why I find interesting to see tons of indie games being successful on Wii U.

Indies appeal to Nintendo fans, unlike games like CoD and the like, look how many indies are colorful, gameplay focus, platformers, etc. on Nintendo consoles , those are our types of games and so we buy them, maybe a Nintendo owner may not buy an Assasins Creed, but they would buy a Shovel Knight, besides most indies don't take away features for the Nintendo versions of their games so they also have our trust, at least that how I think.

Hardly true, many 3rd party exclusives sell quite well on Nintendo platforms. Its really the multiplats that take a beating.

The games ok. There are many better platformers on the wiiu eshop but it has it's own identity. It gets quite hard with spread out check points and a general lack of explanation about what you're meant to be doing/where you're meant to be going. It's a game that you have to sit down and put some time into, wandering around, unsure if you're doing the right thing or if you'll have to backtrack after. This is probably the games strength though it'll make it more niche. I think it would have suited the 3ds but maybe I think that because that was the last platform I played Zelda 2 on.

The graphics are functional, basic and unremarkable 8 bit graphics. The music is pleasant but forgettable. Artistically it doesn't live up to the games that inspire it.

I bought it because I was intrigued by the Zelda 2 influences and I've hoped in the past that an indie dev somewhere would take some of the better Zelda 2 ideas build something great with it. This game doesn't really achieve that, but for what it is (and it's it's own game) it's ok and will suit some people.
