So in the past i heard alot people saying they are interested in mario maker.

I cant really understand that.

There are dozens of free mario level editors already available for pc.

Just check this: (Possibly illegal link removed)

A flash based mario game including a complete editor. I just need 5-10 minutes to get used to the editor and got a pretty good level.

In my Opinion its ridicoulus that nintendo will selling such a title probl at full price (40-60$). Even a flash game can do it (probl made my one person as a hobby).

I am with you, this game makes no sense for me, zero hype here, skipping it altogether. My money will go to other games in that month, the more I hear people are planing to buy it, the more I am starting yo hate the game actually.

It's called being a contrarian man, your kind are abundant on these forums. I, for instance, am one heck of a contrarian with the kardashians... They don't harm me in any way, but I've come to dislike them simply because they are so liked :p

I believe there is decent hype for SMM now (especially after E3). If anything can be said is that the championships really made SMM shine.  I will buy this game and hopefully it will move a decent amount of Wii Us this holiday season.

Most definitely 100% totally yes! Having an extra 100 levels really shows the depth in the game and how it'll probably amount to a whole new Mario game, then you have the ability to make your own awesome levels in intuitive ways as wwll.

It sounds perfect for me.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Not interested.

I'm interested but not really hyped, I might get it IF the price drops or maybe just skip it.  Too many other games that are more interesting.

I've seen many Mario level editors. None of them are as easy to use as Mario Maker. The very few that are more powerful are in turn significantly more difficult to use. All of them are almost certainly on the wrong side of legality. Are you also someone who berates people for buying Virtual Console games, insisting they should download emulators?

It's easy to use, it's fairly powerful, it's easy to share, easy to play other people's levels (I think the game would be worth the asking price just to play other people's levels), and it's official and legal. There's your justification.

Playing platformer's don't interest me anymore and playing random normal peoples platform maps interest me even less. Honestly I have not liked a platformer game since I was as child.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I have a passing interest. I'd play other peoples levels and never make an effort to create my own.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

Yeah, I'm interested.

Actually I'm very excited. This is the only WiiU game I'll definitely buy this year, Star Fox is wait and see. I've pre-ordered Mario Maker, which is a rare thing for me to do, but I'm a sucker for those kinds of booklets that comes with it. It also seems to be able to do practically anything as the tap of the screen. With the creative community on miiverse, the depth of the tools, the presentation and ranking system and the pre-made examples give this game immense potential, about a billion times more than that flash game. I can't wait to see what people can create, and what I myself can create!

Show me some great levels that people have made with the Flash editor and then I'll give it a look. Not to mention the one hundred built in levels?
