Impressive.

Two things that caught my attention:

1-There are more gamers who spend +500 hours than players who spend less than 10. That's great news.

2-Some of the people that took part on the survey have sense of humor

A whole 2% thought that XCX's map is small?

Once you've played Daggerfall, it's hard to think otherwise!

Considering what "just right" means, it seems like 70% thought the game had too much content and 79% thought the world was too big.

Takahashi probably considers that an achievement though.

Well the question oddly presents a good option paired with less clear options.  So for some answering the poll, "a lot" and "a whole lot" or "vast" and "very vast" may be viewed as better than "just right," which they may perceive as "medium" or "acceptable."  If they had used either all neutral (very small,  small, acceptable, big, verry big) or all one way or the other (too small, perfect, too big), it would be a bit more clear how people feel.

The size will probably have bigger appeal over here, where wide-open worlds are kinda big (TES being the leader in that regard).

Well, we're kinda in the age where more is better regardless of whether it's worthless while or not. Why else would playtime be a stat the people ring off every time the game is brought up?

Somehow, I don't think many Japanese have played Daggerfall.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Those numbers are..... Unless you believe that the game (being released on april29th and poll taken on may 29th), being released for a month, people actually spent 200+ hours on the game..... Which means a lot of people spent 6+ hours in the game daily for a straight month.

I call BS.

Probably people who saw No Man's Sky and think everything smaller than that is small lol.

Looks like a solid game. Can't wait till it is released in NA. Hopefully, they have a $250 bundle for holiday season. Super Mario Maker will probably push more units but this game should satisfy people who like RPGs.

Has any other decent RPG been released this generation? I'm not a huge RPG fan but it doesn't look like any other relevant RPG has released yet this home console generation.

Dragon Age Inquisition, Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 are some of note.
