Surprised it was that close as the fans of Sony on IGN as well as VGZ are highly Sony preferred.

Also, you could vote multiple times.

If the E3 conference isn't done how Microsoft does it, then the competition loses. Microsoft's E3 2014 conference included COD: Advanced Warefare, Forza Horizon 2, Evolve, Assassins Creed: Unity, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends, Ori and the Blind Forest, Halo MCC, Halo 5 Beta, Inside, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, Phantom Dust, The Division, Scalebound, and Crackdown. So Microsoft was praised for a bunch of multiplats, Halo: MCC (Just like Uncharted Collection), and Sunset Overdrive (Tearaway: Unfolded, Persona 5, Until Dawn). But Halo: MCC is THE BEST remaster ever while Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection is just trying to copy them. Sunset Overdrive is not niche, but Until Dawn, Persona 5, Tearaway is niche. Scalebound and Crackdown were awesome CG trailers yet FFVII is just "CG (no gameplay, really?)" Forza looks like the last Forza, "what have they been doing with this title for all of these years?" So Sony matched everything that Microsoft did back at E3 2014 except they also dropped 3 HUGE bombs. But Sony's E3 2015 wasn't in the same format as Microsoft's E3 2015 conference, so therefore, they lose. After Microsoft's E3 2014 conference: "It's all about the games! Did you see how many games they announced for this year and beyond?" After Microsoft's E3 2015 conference: "What's important now is just the games that are announced this holiday 2015! I want to know what I can play now and not next year!" So please tell me, what format is the correct format so we can set things straight. Is Microsoft's E3 2014 conference the correct format where they show CG trailers and a bunch of multiplats? Or is it showcasing just the games that are coming this year like what was shown at Microsoft's E3 2015 conference? |
Our idea of "giant bombs" is very different. Couldn't care less about a FF7 remake. Have been sick of hearing about the franchise. Isn't this lame anime FF 15 and FF World coming out before it? What a joke. And it is multiplat? Just do not get why people drool over a simple jrpg. what is it two years away or so. zzzz
TLG, looked boring, wasn't a suprise, looks very similar to when it was first revealed, late 2016 at the earliest. Who cares. Save it for next e3. Nostalgic kiddies everywhere.
Horizon looked dope, but what is that? early 2017? Who cares. We will be gaming at 12k on our PC's in 2017.
Uncharted, cool gameplay video, game looks great and I'll probably get a PS4 when it comes out. But nothing shocking here.
Ah yes, the embarrassment that is Shenmue. Cool they are bringing it back. But it really is not that big of a deal. It will just be a continuation of an average story at best. $30 digital title = little content, short game. Advertising a kickstarter at E3, just sad. Might as well start the trend with every AAA release to see if people will buy it before wasting and risking man hours developing. Basically next-level pre ordering. Anyone fine with this way of doing business for a company like Sony should stop kidding themselves.

So then explain to me what was so exciting about Microsoft's E3 2015 conference.

I'll give you my opinion on why XBOX fans are pushing the 2015 thing.
"Our first party lineup is a little sparse this year, so I think this places even greater emphasis on getting good third party support," Andrew House http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/27/sony-acknowledges-2015-ps4-first-party-lineup-is-sparse
^ A lot of xbox fans thought they had E3 in the bag.
At Sony E3 they had 2 big megatons Shenmue 3 and FFVII, the problem here is that these game are in early production.
Shenmue we won't see this game for 2-3 years.
FFVII has to be in early production too if this article has any truth to it http://www.gamespot.com/articles/final-fantasy-7-remake-director-didnt-know-he-was-/1100-6428460/
Seems like Sony avoided 2015 and talk about there 2016-18 line up to distract us from the now, imo that's why xbox fans pushing this point because they believe sony pulled a fast one.

aaaawww dude...so much salt in this post.
FFVII is a favorite game for a lot of people and they've been asking for a remake for some time, to finally know that it's happening is a big deal.
Similar deal for TLG, though I think mostly people were just releaved to finally have a launch window and see that it does indeed still exsist.
Horizon is 2016 and was easily the most impressive new game shown off at E3. Oh, and what on earth does PC resolution have to do with any of this?
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Sony definitely lost. I mean, unless you plan to keep gaming after December 31, 2015.
