Microsoft: Either by considering implementing an always-online system and other harmful DRM-related features or by removing split-screen modes from the Halo series.
Sony: By shamelessly stealing ideas from the competition (such as, say... paid online) or by announcing a crowdfunding platform in an attempt to be profitable once more.
Nintendo: By implementing on-disc DLC in their games or by announcing new games long before their estimated release date.


Hmm... As it stands it looks like NX will be my primary next generation console to consider.

Microsoft : Never trusted them and i hate them, and probably won't ever love them, but they earned more credibility since phil spencer is at game division & free windows 10, so a little more on same way and i can start to like them ^^ !

Sony : i like them but and trust them when this come about game, can't say the same about their TV !

Nintendo : I loved them in nes / S.nes era, liked them in gamcube/n64 era but wii & wiiu make me hate them.... i really hope NX bring them back in my hearth !

Have a foreboding direct that indicates the ditching of Wii U to replace it with some new bullshit...oh wait.

Microsoft would need to leave the console market in order to lose my respect.

I never had any respect for Sony.

If they were as half as bad as the haters claim I'd loose all respect for them. Fortunately, as it currently is, all three businesses (Specifically in terms of their game consoles business) bring something worthwhile to the table so all get a variable degree of respect.

I like Nintendo games, and feel they still make some of the styles of games I enjoy, when many other big third parties have abandoned them, so if they stopped producing games with the properties I liked about their games I'd loose respect for them.
If Microsoft starts trying to harm gamers for a few extra pennies again I'd loose respect for them.
If Sony rested on their brand and took gamers for granted... or turned into a streaming service.

Im a huge nintendo fan, but i would lose respect for nintendo if they stop doing what they are doing now , making fantastic fun and great games

MS - If MS goes back to Don Mattrick era, I'm done with them. I also don't like the look of that Satya person. He should stay away from Xbox Division.

Sony - Firstly, quit with the shady tactics (doubt this will ever happen). Secondly, quit the unnecessary reliance on exclusive DLC. Then convince me Uncharted 4 is as good as Uncharted 2 and you have a potential customer. It took me 5 yrs to get a PS3 because I hated their principles last gen. I don't think it will take me this long to get a PS4.

Nintendo - N/A? Not interested in anything they do nor will I ever be.

Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft are not persons. They are companies. So they don't have my respect and can't lose it.

MS lost my respect after I found out they charge the FBI and other agencies thousands for giving them your personal data.

Sony is beginning to lose the respect I had for it after this crowdfunding thing they're starting.

Nintendo can never lose my respect.
