ewwww. melee.

idc just MOVE ON.

Out of curiosity, why is it that people like you seem to be bothered by Melee's growing presence in the competitive scene?

Can't handle the hype?

Melee elitists are the reason I'm seeing. While I agree that the melee community itself needs to not be such jerks to everyone else, Melee is still an amazing game.

That is because a lot of guys didn't have Gamecube anymore...

Meele is >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smash Wii U

Have you played Smash Wii U extensively?

I'd say that Melee is much more competitive still. That doesn't discredit Smash Wii U though.

The biggest surprise for me is that Smash Wii U has more players than melee.

Street Fighter V looks so much better than SFIV.... pretty sure once its out, its going to replace the 4th at evo.

Pretty sure next year it will have both.

Usually new fighting games replace the old games in tournaments upon release. The exception is Smash Bros.

In my opinion the TOP4 will be (no order): SFV, SFIV, Melee and Smash Wii U.

That's assuming Smash Wii U makes it in next year. Before now I wasn't sure if it would, but seeing this many entrants it might just.

And Street Fighter.

EVO 2009, 2010, 2011 had SFIII:3S and SFIV.

I expected EVO 2016 to have SFIV and SFV and maybe EVO 2017.

Meele will be on EVO for more 10 years
