So, the price is the reason why we're counting it more than once? Does that mean we count 4 copies of Action 52 every time it sold?

Its 2 games no matter how you look at it. If you want to argue Action 52/etc, thats on you.

no matter how you look at it?

I think you could look at it from the angle, that (as they are clearly not 2 entirely separate games) both versions together is the complete game, while a single campaign is half-a-game

btw shouldn't the LE in your view be even counted as 3 games as it will have a 3rd campaign?

Yes it should be counted, FE sold 390k FW!!!

FE:if is really complicated technically both games are full games, but there is alot more to it to that unfortunately

Famitsu also track cards that contain digital codes. There's no way to prove one way or another what makes up the remaining number (we do know the cards sold very well though).

I agree the way of tracking this Fire Emblem is a little special. Counting the Special Version x2 seems not that fair.

Still, Famitsu and Dengeki TRACKED the PKM ORAS double version as two copies (one for MC). And I believe this time is happening the same. Tomorrow if Dengeki shows a number similar to Famitsu rather than MC we can almost confirm again they're tracking two copies and MC just one.

The best comparison for FE:if in terms of sales imo is NSMBU+NSLU. NSLU is sold on disc with NSMBU and completely standalone. Nintendo Counts all sales for NSLU as a sale. weither that be

1. NSLU on Disc DLC for NSMBU (The WiiU Bundle)

2. NSLU standalone game $30

3 NSLU DLC $20

I'm happy with
3DS above 20k
WIU above 10k

And if we have
3DS above 30k
WIU above 15k
Even more good.

So, if it is 390k for 3 games, 390 divided by 3 equals 130k per game, which means that they did around half as much as Awakening.

What do you mean? What I'm trying to show is how it is almost impossible to compare Awakening's sales with If's, as it's 3 games against 1.

You're just spinning it so hard. I was curious if you were dizzy.

This is why we should just be counting them as separate games. White sold about 170k. Black sold about 170k.

The genius.
