Huge read, but I will say at least say why I don't believe Reggie. The "we only announce games that are coming soon argument" is utter bs. I am still waiting (after about 2 years and half) for xenoblade x and smt x fe. Meanwhile blood borne came out not so far from announcement. It really is pathetic to generalize all the competitor games and downplay their long waiting periods when your own company is suffering major drought despite having announced many games

People are mad at the huge hypocrisy, not the content of the message. It came off sour grapes and pouting that they got horrid feedback from their digital event.

You're giving him far too much credit for his damage control.

Edit: That and he was cherry picking examples is very lame. For every game that gets shown years in advance, there are dozens that follow normal dev cycles.
