At the opposite, on topic, it's the exact same scenario to say PS4 will easily beat Wii U to reach a level making it the only relevant console in Japan. It's close to say 3DS 2 will easily beat WiiU, because it's crazy to think otherwise, as crazy as to think PS4 wont beat Wii U by a lot when you know the facts

Pointless to talk about something so obvious, i agree, this shouldnt even need a discussion.

Bloodborne is a game made for Japan...it is an evident Japanese game. It boosted PS4 sales in Japan, and sold a decent amount. Just because it has a following outside of Japan doesn't make it non-Japanese.

Aside from that, Yakuza 0, Dragon Quest Heroes, Final Fantasy Type-0, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Battlefield: Hardline, God Eater 2, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, Dying Light, The Witcher 3, etc. For the PS4, it hasn't been so much that it's had a slew of huge individual titles, but rather a large pool of smaller titles that accumulate and attract a crowd together. This is why it was performing so well in February and March, because it had big name games and consistent releases.

I see you're not familiar with NX being a home console too. Well, that's what most expect. DQXI would be a perfect fit.


I think that it will be something new, probably some kind of hybrid. It could be released for both, PS4+NX. But I think that the PS4 version is guaranteed, after all is the most successful home console right now.

It is what sales in Japan shows... PS4 is tracking to be 50% more sales than last year and Wii U is tracking to be below last year sales.

More three of four weeks and PS4 will be up YoY even with Feb 2014 sales being launch... Wii U is already down YoY even with Splaton.

Your maths are wrong about the weekly basis..

2015 Only

Wii U: 264.208 (down yoy) / 25 = ~10.5k per week (with Splaton release)
PS4: 566.654 (down yoy) / 25 = ~22.5k per week (except for the Feb launch last year PS4 is tracking up yoy)

But in those sales we mix megaton weeks with poor weeks...

Wii U is at 10.5k avarange thanks Splatoon, withouth it, it usually selling 7k or 8k...

Even PS4, the avarange is so huge thanks BloodBorne/Yakuza/Dragon Quest/Type 0 ecc, recently the PS4 is selling just more than 10k, in some weeks like the week of The Witcher 3 or DMC4 is above 12k.

 

Now, is true that the PS4 has sold much more than Wii U, but see...

As for now, we have only Q1 and Q2 of sales.

The Q1 for the PlayStation console is strong like the Holidays ( Q4 )

Look PSVita! Last year, in the Q1 has sold more than in the holidays... that's not gonna to happen with Ninty console, indeed, the Q4 is like the normal the bigger time of sales.

Indeed, this holidays Wii U and 3DS will sell more than triple / quardruple than in Q1, where PSVita and PS4 will probabily sell at the same level (40k to 60k the 3 most important weeks of year probabily)

 

Any way we will see, i don't think PS4 will sell 1.5 million this year. 1.2 million seem more likely. I also think the Wii U will be at 750k, not under 700k imo.

1. Who the fuck knows what they are making. If it's Ni No Kuni 2, I'll be ecstatic.

2. You do realize that even though Yokai Watch sells more, Ni No Kuni on PS3 was obviously a way more expensive project, completely discrediting your assertion that "not even Level 5 is stupid enough to trust sony in japan" (what in the world is that supposed to mean anyway, are you calling Level 5 a stupid company?).
