Forums - Gaming - If You Made An Original Game Character, How Would They Act?

Not the game, but the character/s of a game that'd you'd make. Like the protagonist, antagonist, supporting characters, NPC's, stuff like that. What would their personalities be like?

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

My character is the strong and silent type, but can still say basic phrases and sentences to get through life.

My character has emotion, but has no remorse or mercy when killing his enemies.

The characters that support him depends solely on his choices.

He could be on the "good" side, or the "evil" side, based on his actions in life, and he's willing to conform to his path.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Another antagonist like sephiroth... every great RPG should have one of those. Too few really great villians in games.

Cannot wait to see what he ends up like in FF7R.

Would be a serial killer , a kind of hitman game, a crazy man stalking his preys in an open world , he stalks them at their job, then follow them, take note of everything and then chose the best moment to plan his ritual murder

Of course, the more he kills, the more the cops will be close to find him if he let too many clues ( there will be an advanced IA able to witness of every suspicious move you made)

The game ends when you get caught, or get killed by a vigilanty ( an other aspect of the game we'll talk later )

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

He would be the dumb friend of every generic anime character

Tifa from FF7 isn't my absolute favorite videogame character but she is one that I find very interesting. She's sensitive and rather unsure of herself, yet she is steadfast, brave, and loyal. She was the star of FF7, in my opinion.

Likewise, Celes was my favorite in FF6. Her internal struggles were very compelling. She was a powerful general but she was filled with doubt about what she was doing and about her purpose in life. That story was so wonderfully told.

So, I think a character like that would be one of my protagonists. Resolute on the outside but with their own share of uncertainty. Characters like that, who are brave and selfless despite their own inner turmoil, interest me greatly.

Protagonists would be 2 pre-teen boys with funny voices. One is white and one is black. The white one is good at word-play, and the black one is cool and says action-y stuff.

Supporting characters, I dunno.

Antagonists would be a King, who rules a Fire/Volcano province, and someone from hundreds of years ago who's evil turned him into a monster who's look reflects his personality. The King is sorta generic, he's really serious, and wants to colonize other provinces and destroy them and their residents, and rebuild it with the people who lived there before as slaves. And he needs a certain power to do that. The monster man is extremely generic. Bad guy does something, hero must stop them, bad guy makes Bowser groans type of thing.

NPC's consists of - Pretty girl, old quirky professor dude who stays in one spot, his grandson who goes all over the game-world. I got nothing else.

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

This goes beyond just how mine acts but I'd thought some users would be interested in this:

Mine would be a hybrid mix of the strong silent type and wise, yet witty wizard. He will be more talkative during certain times, but his extreme emotions are more subtle because he's seen it all and been through it all too many times to count.

He meets countless beings of all kinds throughout his life, understanding their plights, but recognizing the bigger picture. The bigger picture being that he can't allow himself to interfere with subject matters each species in the universe must overcome themselves, or stagnate to the point of extinction with overbearing aid.

He will protect all the harmonious races in the universe from forces impossible for them to defend against, but he will only give advice for problems each planet and lifeform has a chance of overcoming.

There are however exceptions he makes. Most of the time all people and lifeforms are thankful for everything he does, other times people lash out at him and curse him for not helping them during their times of need. He understands their plights completely and doesn't mind the hatred towards him. There's plenty of supporters and haters to go around for him. He makes it well known to them that he is not God or a god and he's not there to solve all of their problems.

He may have the strength, speed, intelligence, ability, skill and energy output suiting of a god, but he's not there to rule. As a side-quest of his, he's been searching the universe for thousands of years to answer one question that has eluded him since he 'appeared':

"What is his origin?"

He has psychic powers, time travel abilities, time manipulation, reality warping powers and even inter-dimensional transparent control. He can even create Universes to use as training grounds for his ridiculous energy outputs. But despite all this, he still can't figure out how and why he was created.

The only clue he has is a golden tare in space he found one time. In the tare he can sense his own energy coming from it.

He does sound  like what one might call a "God".

Depends on the character and the game.
