2. Activision-Blizzard: Convenient that they're merged, I love all Blizzard games and Activision has had great games since their Pitfall/Kaboom/H.E.R.O./River Raid days on the atari, though I've not been as into them recently

3. Paradox Interactive: The Europa Universalis/Crusader Kings/Hearts of Iron/Victoria (among others) are wonderful

4. Bethesda: love the Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises and they've taken over both

5. Rockstar: GTA and Red Dead Redemption

I feel bad limiting it to 5, definitely leaving some great ones out... As a kid I'd be very disappointed in myself for not including Sierra or Sega lol

All of them are pretty amazing games. I highly suggest you try out these series.
