Basically, I wanted to make this to see who the worst at the game is, and this is the best way to do it!

So it's very simple, you play the original NES Mario from 1985 normally (no warp pipes that let you skip parts of the game), and when/if you get a game over, write the level you died on, the amount of coins you had, and the amount of points you had. And if you don't get gameover, do the same thing, but don't write the level you died on. Our points for this competition are added by adding your rank in points and rank in level, and whoever with the lowest is the winner.

Rules - No infinite lives, no warping to different worlds.

Also, once you get past World 1-4, you are not allowed to try again if you get a game over in this competition.

I like this idea...when do we need to submit it by? And can we get infinite lives?

Submitting at any time is okay, and no infinite lives. 'Tis a battle of pure Mario skill!

Edit:  I died on 2-4 with a score of 130500 with 80 coins :(

The prize is being first place. I guess. But you must do it again! On the NES version (Virtual Console is fine).

You only get one shot, but you can try again if you get a gameover on World 1-4 or below, like my second post said.

Just a tip, for WiiU users they can post their Gameover screen to Miiverse (or image hoster) and post it here as proof :)

PS: When Mario Maker comes along, we can challenge each other with troll levels
