If digital pricing was more competitive would you consider it more?

Yes 122 60.70%

No 52 25.87%

I'm already 100% digital 27 13.43%

Total:201

This and the fact youre dependent on sales (view days) to get digital games cheaper makes digital not competetive to me.

Of course! I got Mortal Kombat X on PS4 digitally because it cost as much as it did in retail because it was 'on sale'.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

FOr most games yeah, the only things I must buy physical are franchise I know I love; Zelda, Final Fantasy etc

Yes but I probably wouldn't be 100% digital because I'd be helping maybe millions lose their jobs in manufacturing and retail. You could argue it's for progress, I'm not sure.

And I would still not be able to buy as many games because of not being able to resell and put that money into new games.

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

If I could keep the games forever (even SAVE DATA/PROGRESS) even on newer consoles later on then I would consider buying retail games digitally.

Do you even Steam bro?

For new releases, Steam isn't much better. At least in Europe.

Witcher 3 (German Steam site): 60€
Witcher 3 (Amazon.de retail): 45€ (actually in Germany you have to pay 5€ extra for 18+ games when shopping at Amazon, so 50€)
Witcher 3 (Amazon.de code): 45€

Project CARS (German Steam site): 50€
Project CARS (Amazon.de retail): 43,40€
Project CARS (Amazon.de Steam Code): 30€ (looool)

etc.

It wouldn't change the way i see digital purchases.

I want boxed games mainly because i can resell the games i no longer want to buy new games; I also like having boxed games.

If i could resell digital games (something like owning the license to play a game and being able to sell it to someone) then things would be different.

Yup. I would be all digital by now. I got tons of physical games I don't touch but swear I will resell one day. Instead I don't and they just add to the clutter. The only thing that makes me leery of digital is if by some weird accident I get banned and I can't use my digital purchases anymore.

I only have digital titles for my PS4 right now (I kinda wonder if my BD drive is even functional - haven't been able to test it).

I buy digital if there's no other way, and have considered it for online-only titles I'll be jumping & out of. But otherwise physical is where it's at, nothing like having a physical copy in hand, able to lend, trade & sell.
