Well, shit. Sorry to hear that, man. I haven't been here too long, but even I can see the tremendous contribution you've made to the site. So thanks for that and the rest of us will have to step up in your place.

Here's hoping you'll find whatever you're looking for, or at least the break will be good for you. Maybe more time spent gaming and less time talking about it? Sometimes, you have to go away and dream it all up again, clear your mind a bit.

It's more psychologically deeper than that... wanting to be noticed...  wanting of attention. We are all guilty of it to some degree on the internet. Some heavily moreso than others.

Like I said in jaywood's goodbye thread. It's perhaps an unconscious effort to supplement what little justifcation we get in our real social lives or an effort to completely replicate it in the virtual world (i.e VGC) because we have no such thing in our real social lives.
