Worst case? It launches on Wii U AFTER the NX version. Best case: Nintendo releases the Wii U version with some breathing room and launches an enhanced port on the NX six months later.

EDIT: What's likely - a dual launch (if NX hits next winter, that is).

Even the best case would still be a pretty big let down. I would rather the Zelda team release Zelda U and immediately start working on Zelda NX. Don't know why they would take time to develop an enhanced port of a game.

Worst-case realistic scenario for Zelda U would be a complete cancellation of the Wii U version in favour of an NX release. I could see it happening, though,
