With the remake of Final Fantasy VII finally announced, it made me thinking "what other games deserve a remake?"

What do you guys think?

Personally, I'd love to see a remake of Mega Man X2 for the SNES (it would be a sequel to Mega Man Maverick Hunter X for the PSP)

I absolutely loved Mega Man X for the SNES, and while I haven't played Maverick Hunter X for the PSP, it seems to get the job done as a decent remake, sporting things like updated music, good voice acting, and even features bonuses, like an alternate playable character, and even an anime OVA that serves as the prologue for Mega Man X.

I wish Mega Man X2 (and even X3 and X4) could get similar treatment, featuring more updated music, and possibly even more anime cutscenes and OVA.

I think the Mega Man X2 has good potential to be remade, and I'd love to see it be released on platforms like the PS4, or even the Vita.

Pokemon Platinum. Open world Sinnoh, baby!

The Last of Us has been asking for a remake for a while now.

First thing that comes to mind. Mario 64, Would love to see that game fleshed out. I`ve heard people say FF6 also. That would be awesome to see.

I'd rather they remade The Last of US: Remastered.

Mafia needs to be redone, but like yesterday. This here is a great game. I love how they captured the 1930's atmosphere nearly perfectly with an excellent story. Problem is, even on PC, graphics and mechanics are dated. Story needs to stay how it is; maybe add some details here and there to make Lost Heaven more alive.

Super Mario 64 would be awesome.

BloodRayne. Awesome atmosphere in that game. I'd love to see it revamped (heh) with a large budget.

I can't agree with that. The first one was better, the 30fps made the experience more cinematic.
