Hmm, what ruins a game for me..? Probably microtransactions or pre-order bonuses that cut out extra game content. The idea of games trying to get more out of me after I've already bought the game just doesn't sit very well with me, and sorta cheapens the game... : /

Fetch quests just to stretch out a game. I love MGS1 but that "hot card" "cold card" section--as short as it is--message me stop playing more than once.

Motion controls ruined Skyward sword for me too.

Excessive loading times and full reload on death / restart usually ruins a game for me.

The Twilight Princess thing makes no sense. It works very differently from Skyward Sword and there's a GameCube version. Plus in the Wii version you don't need to use motion controls to shoot the bow or clawshot and boomerang and stuff. There's an option to disable them (But not for Sword + Sheild controls).

Shamar Night in Sonic Unleashed. I was having a consistent playthrough of Sonic Unleashed recently and I immediately turned off the console when that stage loaded and haven't played since (But I have beaten the game twice).
