I'm not a fan of many of them either. Then again, I'm not a fan of most "AAA" titles. It's a good job we all have different tastes, no way you could sustain an economy for 7 billion people if people just liked the things I like.

I think it's mostly the price of these games that influences the score. If a game like Hotline Miami would have been $60 it would have been burned by critics and gamers.

I did but loved it but Journey isn't any indie game though.

PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

Basically this, lol.
I partially agree. Quality titles are only few and usually target a very specific audience. Most titles lack consistency, gameplay works but graphics doesn't or vice versa. Really difficult to explain but looking at nes/snes games you instantly feel gameplay and graphics are a match. What I'm trying to say indies usually fail to blend the graphics and gameplay.
I think gaming industry should expect more from indies and reflect it in their reviews.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Yeah, someone just pointed out I'd probably jumped the gun. Appologies. I don't agree with your premise though.
The PS5 Exists.

It's a false dichotomy and most people who believe it are only hurting themselves.
What does "indie" even mean? By the literal definition, Insomniac is indie. So is Bungie.
A lot of people think it means team size. Where, then, is the dividing line? 20 people? 50 people? 100 people? Seems kind of silly.
I've got a better dividing line: games that interest me and games that don't. I don't give a rat's ass about the size of the team that made the game, I don't care if people call them "indie" or "AAA". All of that is completely irrelevant.
Some games from smaller studios are good, some are bad. Some AAA games are good, some are bad. I've spent over 100 hours in This War of Mine and would take it over Assassin's Creed any day of the bloody week.
If people want to base what they play one these little labels, that's fine with me. Don't blame me for chuckling, though.

Last year I played many, many indies. Bastion and Rogue Legacy were more enjoyable than 99% of the "big" games on PS4, WiiU, Xbox, and PC. Just because they're indie does not mean they are poor. Just like having a big budget is not indicative of a game being good. I hated all of the Assassin's Creed games and also the Witcher 1/2, all of which are big budget games, whereas Bastion, Transistor, and many other indies were really fun and enjoyable (especially Bastion). You need to keep in mind that most indies are made by a few people and are on a very tight (small) budget.
