Animal crossing will be tracked, but it is still a free to play budget game whose quality does not compare to last years game.

Clearly that's not the case since the week Bayo 2 released, there wasn't a noticable change in Wii U hardware sales. And how do you know it won't happen? Star Fox has been dead for a long time so if people see there is a new game, they'll want to play it. And Xenoblade is likely to get a lot of marketing in the west, so that can move systems too.
Again, quality isn't a problem here. Animal Crossing is a huge seller, especially in Japan. Even though it's a budget game, it's still going to sell.
If you want to compare the full year then make a thread about it. Clearly that's not what this thread is about.
