Well considering the PS4 is much more popular than XB1 you are going to feel this way most places. You could still to XBOX sites to avoid the Sony propaganda

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

This site is actually the most Xbox One friendly site around. It's just a change in the times. I personally go to neogaf for Sony propaganda.

I don't know if it has been said already, but I think you missed "Oddworld: New 'n Tasty".

Great pointy anyway. Cross-buy is obviously much better than b/c! :)

Wow. XBO's BC really ruffled a few feathers, didn't it?

This isn't really about xb1, this is about sony saying they wouldn't do BC when clearly they are providing a similar service already. Do they even know their own platform?

I still want Sony to introduce PS3 disc recognition for PS4 and allow you to access the game on PSNow for free, if it's there of course. It isn't b/c but the effect isothermal same as MS's semi b/c.

That is actually a great idea. I do not see them doing it but certainly wish they would.

I wasn't really referring to your thread specifically, just the slew of threads/posts on both sides since it was announced. I just thought it was a nice little announcement and I didn't realize so much conflict would arise as a result.

As for Sony, they may just be referring to discs, but I really have no idea.

It is definitely better than the BC that the X1 offers.

Microsoft has a list of 1,556 games people can vote on for backwards compatibility. By next year there will likely be hundreds of Xbox 360 titles that can be run on Xbox One. I know it really bothers some people that the Xbox One can do some things the PS4 can't but they really need to just accept it and move on.

Stupid fat fingers and typing on the phone with auto-suggest. Fixed now.

When PSNow was first announced I mentioned wanting this feature. People thought it was either dumb or not feasible. Well MS certainly showed that disc recognition is at least feasible. I do hope Xb one sees a significant sales increase with this semi-b/c because that might then encourage Sony to find an equivalent inducement in respect of past gen games. I bet it would be possible to achive game recognition for PS1 and PS2 discs as well with a fairly straightforward system update. It is also a way to get people to sign up for PSNow, which in turn will get people to pay to try out games they don't already own. You play the long game by giving people access to content they already own without additional cost on the basis that it gets them across the hurdle of signing up for the service, which they are more likely to use in future because they are already signed up. If they never sign up then there is zero chance of them ever using the service.
