Forums - Gaming - Breaking! PS4 now supports some BC (PS3 digital titles). More than xb1!~!

By the way... I still need to play Shovel Knight. i will buy it today.

Lol and they also are improved over the original versions unlike the BC on XBO that runs "Just like it does on the 360."

Though this is a laughable comparison, at least it will be by the end of the year when XBO gets more BC AAA titles.

Funny thread for now.... will look pretty silly soon though. :P

Ewwww... Who wants to play games from PS3? We need to think forward people.

Did Journey make it to PS4, yet? I got it for PS3 and I'd love to get an improved version for free.

I thought it was coming soon? Could've sworn I saw something about it. Yep official Sony website says PS4 TBC.

OT: Guess I just never thought about it but yeah this is a form of BC. And Sony has been doing it for a while now with PS3/Vita nd PS4. Cross-Buy is a great value as you pay once and have the game on several or all PS platforms.

And of course people will try to discount it.

Q: If a game is on the 360 and you paid for it then it becomes available on your XB1 and you don't have to pay for it again, yet they call that backward compatibility, and a game is on the PS3 and you paid for it then it becomes available on the PS4, yet they call it cross-buy, what the H E double hockey sticks is the difference?

A: Semantics.

In case nobody picked up on it, this thread may not be 100% serious....

same. I didn't realize it was available also on vita!

If I remember correctly a lot of these were also free with PS+. So even more win for Sony.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Allegiance

That's cross-buy not backwards compatibility. This isn't breaking news in any way.
