As much as I loved the ps1 games and as well as they hold up to this day, I think we're hard pressed to see a successful crash bandicoot game in this era; unless it was a AA indie I just don't see how it could work without switching genres.

If they do, I'd imagine that they would save it to make E3 2016 just as amazing as this one, even though that's a technical impossibility.
