All these scenarios would be a lot more immersive in a simulated environment. You don't even need top notch graphics to make it seem real. The brain will make it feel so real that there is no need for real environments.

But when I'm having sex with my imaginary wife I want to be naked and having sex with the air on the bed. I might fall off the bed if I was doing that in VR.

You will fall off your bed when your eyes are covered? How do you sleep at night?

Hololens is the future of gaming.

That's silly, why would you sleep, when you can imaginary sleep and have imaginary dreams?

Maybe in some genres yes like RTS and MOBAs but this is way bigger than gaming because it has real world applications, btw I don't believe that VR is going overtake traditional gaming.

But you can run around in your room and actually not bump into things. I understand with the obesity of most Americans, it might be hard, but still.

Imagine a horror game, where you try to hide from a little doll that is trying to kill you. Maybe a game where zombies are breaking in your house and you need to fend them off. Or a rape game, where people are in your house trying to rape you and you need to run around and hide from them. Imagine a real life Sims game, where you have an imaginary wife and she is cooking for you in the kitchen and watching movies with you on your couch and when you go to bed, she is right there beside you, telling you how awesome you are and you are the best lover ever.

This!  There are so many creative crazy things - and blending the current real life environment with a virtual one opens up to even more things.

Remember that old video where the guy took his virtual girlfriend for a walk?  Now how about going on a safari - with virtual but real looking dinosaurs like Virtual Jurassic Park (nobody gets eaten that way.)

Virtual vampires can not bite.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Having used it this year at E3, I present to you an inconvenient truth.

Imagine having a virtual party in your house and you are dancing with some hotties. Or maybe you are in a virtual classroom and you are learning new things with a teacher and a chalkboard in front of you while a bully keeps distracting you and calling you a sissy boy. How bout a Ghostbusters game where you are trying to catch ghosts in your house.. Maybe a Dragonball Z game and whenever you look at people, it gives you their power levels. How about a cooking game where it actually makes you cook real things in life. An X-Ray app where you look at people and it shows them naked.

That's why they never said it's final product and when will it release.

And i have feel some people keep think it's tie in with Xbox, which is not, Hololens become great or not doesn't really that matter for Xbox.

hat they need to do is project the light to the entire glass then use a curved LCD that switches pixels between black (solid) and white(transparent) to then fill in the areas of rendered geometry that need to show shadow, even in the black state it would still be semi transparenty, but it would define the rendered image better, right now it has extremely limited use for gaming because the darker the portion of the screen the higher the transparency.

It's not mainly for gaming too.
