Yep. This is kind of new territory for me too, since I've only just gotten into Japanese games. This game and Persona 5 seem right up my alley, but they're definitely not for everyone (and I know people say that about a lot of games...but it's true for these especially. They strike a very specific niche.)

I love JPOP and turn based combat, hate teenager leads and don't like much anime...

You won't necessarily like all of those things if you like at least one of them.

It's like they made a checklist of all the things I despise.


Jpop = indiffernt towards, it can work in games.

turn-based combat = I love turn based games.

Anime = sometimes its a good thing.

Teenage heroes = better than playing as a kid character.. adult would be even better though.

 

And who doesnt like a good persona game? awesome jrpgs.

I just don't really see the appeal. I wish they'd cancel this mess and just make a real Fire Emblem game for Wii U. Oh well...at least I have Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fire Emblem Fates.

Atlus is making the game, so it has no effect on a Fire Emblem game being made.
