on the one hand, Nintendo didn't show anything "new" that was terribly exciting. Unless Star Fox absolutely 100% confirmed has an option to NOT use any motion controls or "GamePad aiming", unless I can use REGULAR controls, then I am not interested. And even if it does, it's still not the new Star Fox game I wanted, and the "Arwing turning into a walking chicken" thing is silly as fuck. It might still be a decent game, but the fact of the matter is, fans have NEVER gotten an honest to god sequel to SF64, that was on THAT LEVEL. That's all I have ever wanted, was a real SF64 follow up, not some stupid gimmick after another. Assault was an aborted, rotting fetus, and nothing else has been worthy either. Adventures does not in any way count, because it's not a SF game.
There is nothing retail for Wii U coming this year that I have any real interest in right now, except for Yoshi, which I absolutely will get, because Good-Feel has a track record of making fantastic games. I do however have major interest in many digital titles coming to Wii U eShop, which seems to be where most of my interest lies (indie games) these days anyway.
On the OTHER hand, gamers these days do prove themselves over and over again to be a spoiled, impatient, whining lot, so they aren't the "heroes" of this story either.
At the end of the day, E3 sucks nowadays, and is nothing to get excited for, like it was in "the old days". I am still getting Zelda U, someday, and I hope it will live up to even half it's potential, and be a massive game world that I can explore and enjoy, sans dumb gimmicks. I also feel confident Nintendo will give me at least 2-4 other retail titles I'll probably want before the Wii U is done. And there are PLENTY of eShop titles I want.
Fact is, gaming just isn't what it once was, all around. And yes, their E3 was a big letdown. But people shouldn't get so fuckin' hyped anymore either. It just isn't worth it. Play what you play, and like what you like.
Reggie was all like "I still want to be hurt, but the hate are going down... I better make something up to get them raging again...... IT WAS NOT AN APOLOGY IDIOTS! MWAHAHA:

Bayonetta 2 is selling well considering how niche it is and the small install base. Again with zombi u it sold reasonably well for such a mediocre game. by no means am I suggesting that Nintendo will start making m rated games but I think we will see them make more games like metroid prime and splatoon on nx which are games that dedicated gamers enjoy. |
ah yeah i see that:
Animal Crossing_ Amiibo Party
Awesome third party deal: Amiibo skylande cross over
Sooo mature splatoon avdertisement. No voice chat (dont tlak about if its necessary but their explanation why its not there). Not much launch content to not overwhelm people
You will get soo dissapointed. Get a real console. Nintendo dont care about real gamers any more, they showed it these year

Too late, I'm pretty sure he's dug all the way to China by now.
Current Nintendo is at 2005-2006 Sony and 2013 Microsoft levels of PR catastrophe.

Dude you know nothing about me. I have a ps4 and a high end pc. Nothing will ever get in between me and playing the premium games that Nintendo creates. I never suggested Nintendo was going to get into making violent video games. It's just that they are moving in the future towards more games with depth in them. While Xenoblade, Splatoon, and Star Fox all fit into this category as far as I'm concerned I believe Miyamoto was referring to the future future and not so much games we all already knew about which were coming out in the near future.
Define a real gamer because I really find your comment to be offensive. Personally I feel like Xenoblade appeals to the same audience as Skyrim or Final Fantasy. Yes Nintendo creates a large quantity of smaller games which i don't care about but that's because they need to carry thier system by themselves right now and let's face it.. For every Xenoblade game you could develop 15 smaller games with the same man power being used.
I'll be selling pitchforks and torches all week long. Just send a message my way and I'll send ya a set.

I can't believe he said that on record and knowing that people were gonna see it.
