PC is such a trigger word for people on this site.
It got a lot of support this E3, so in a way it did win. Although winning is in the eye of the beholder depending on what you like.

I will be enjoying Tales of Zestria and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD when they release this year on PC. The latter is an old game, but it never released in the West until last March, so it is new enough. I will also get to play Xenoblade Chronicles X and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (later) when I buy a Wii U this holiday. I will play Persona 5 on my PS3. I will play a plethora of JRPGs on my 3DS. Trust me I am not craving JRPGs by not having PS4. Unless you think I want to play every JRPG that will come to be, which I don't. I can miss out on Star Ocean, as the last game wasn't that great, I never finished it, and I'm not a huge fan of the series anyway. I guarantee you that both FFVII and FFXV will be coming to PC. The only JRPG that I will miss out on, which I want, is Kingdom Hearts 3, and by the time that releases I can get a PS4 for under $200 probably. I mentioned Bayonetta as a Japanese game that ISN'T a JRPG. You seemed to equate Japanese game with JRPG. Again I was talking about a second platform to complement the first. If somebody has a PC or PS4 then a Wii U makes much more sense as a second platform. It gives an entirely different experience. And I think most people would agree. You can mention niche game number 40, but I can guarantee you that if somebody can get all of the AAA multiplats on either their PS4 or PC (excluding a few for each platform) then they'll be looking to Smash Bros and Mario Kart before they will look toward Star Ocean 5. There are no subsitutes on these platforms for said games. |
Like i told u not every one has money to buy 2 consoles, I will buy Wii U (thanks to XCX) dont wory because of that i have to pirated some PC games LOL. But not all people PC guy buy Wii U, or PC + Wii U is not always rule of thumb, i am just saying PS4 goes well to with PS4 if the people loves PS4 exclusive and JRPG. and again did mario help Wii U???????? The answer people stay away from Wii U because of the same character the reuse for every generation, and i am bored with Mario, thanks to XCX i have another reason LOL. So Yes people will choose JRPG rather then Mario.

The original comment that I quoted was about owning two platforms. If you want to discuss nobody having money to buy two platforms then that is another topic. I think PC + Wii U or PS4 + Wii U gives you a much broader gaming experience than PS4 + PC, at the very least right now, but I think it will remain true in the future as well. If one has a PS4 or a PC it makes more sense to get a Wii U than a PS4 or PC (the opposite of what they had.)
Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart both have mainstream appeal beyond Nintendo fans. Both of them sold systems. Meanwhile, the same can't be said for Star Ocean.
PC definitely won.
It streams all of the XB1 games, plus all of the games that seem to be coming to PC/PS4. Also, soon enough, the PSNow will probably be a simple thing for all windows PC's. PC will have the most content by a long shot.
Wait, it sounds like MS won, as PC for the most part equals Windows which really means MS!
Damn, MS did win E3 after all...
It is near the end of the end....
Not enough Half Life 3 for my liking.
Current gaming platforms - Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, New 3DS, PC

Again u mention Mario which only appeal to Nintendo fans that almost extinct , Wii U is good but not good to replace PS4 in terms of games, even Wii U is lack of Nintendo IP compared to their previous console neither fun to play like Wii with the Wii mote was. Again PS4 will have more then Star Ocean and far then you can imagine. So yeah Mario Kart and Super smash Bros really help Wii U dominating sales console this gen

No I mentioned Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros, both of which are not Mario series games. Mario Kart is not only a "Nintendo fan" franchise. It appeals to people like this.

The same is true for Super Smash Bros, which appeals to the brogamer.
Both series are greater than Nintendo. And I we aren't talking about sales. Stop trying to change the subject and talk about the topic at hand. "Are Nintendo or PS exclusives more different from the games PC gamers usually play?" is the question. I'd answer Nintendo.

Dont tell me you're excited for the virtual room..

We know that it will eventually come to either PC, Xbone, or both. PC sounds like the more reasonable of the three scenarios.
