Yet people still want them and keep buying them. PC gamers get plenty of new IPs and variety on their platform. Some want staple franchises that give fun local multiplayer or nostalgia. Again, we are talking about which is a better second platform, not a better first one. And for that matter if you own a PS4 then PC isn't a great second platform as the libraries are intrinsically entangled and what is exclusive isn't that unique of an experience, and vice-versa with PC with regards to PS4. That was the point I was making. Wii U gives an entirely different experience than the aforementioned platforms. I mean sure, there is TLG and Horizon which are different enough, or Strategy games and Pillars of Eternity which are different enough, but you really won't find equivalents of almost every Wii U game ALREADY released. |
I am just replying based on your reply to the guy you replied before, so i am agree with him because i am intersted more on PS4 (sepecially JRPG games) Wii will not have Star Ocean and most of JRPG games beside XCX and Fire Emblem X SMT, So if you more of western gamer then you probably will not choose PS4 as a second platform, So i just agree and disagree here, it's your opinion, and there is nothing wrong and no mater how you put your own opinion on me Wii U will never replace PS4 for me, But you are wrong if you arguing people who say PS4 and PC is a good match. Because it's opinion.

Um... No. No, not at all. Most of the best showings at E3 (Kingdom Hearts III, FFVII Remake, Horizon, Uncharted 4, Nier 2, Dreams, and more) aren't even available on the platform, with some of them having zero possibility of a future port. lol
Plus, the PC Talk Show was by far the most embarrassing thing to happen all E3.

As if games can be marginalized into:
Western vs. Japanese
and if all Japanese games can be marginalized into the genre of Japanese RPG (Bayonetta?, Nintendo non-RPG Games?, Wonderful 101?)
I'm mainly a PC gamer and I find the Nintendo experience to be vastly different from the PC experience, whilst the PS4 and XBO try to emulate the PC experience. There are plenty of JRPGs on PC/coming to PC to satisfy me and the Wii U/handhelds would fill in the gaps.
Also your original reply was just listing a bunch of PS4 exclusives that aren't on PC. I can do the same for a bunch of Wii U exclusives.
| Ali_16x said: lol, where were the exclusives? Only RTS games if I recall correctly and meh to those, not my genre. |
this
No Uncharted and no Horizon so no.
Also, no FF7 Remake at launch? Good luck waiting for that.

What other platform do you expect FFVII remake to come to? Xbone?
(Remember if FFVII were an exclusive Sony would have said so, instead they said "First on Playstation 4." )

If it means not paying over $200 for another platform, quite easily, especially since it is only a slightly above-average FF game in my opinion (FFVI, FFIX, FFIV, and FFX are better, I expect FFXV will be better too.)

There plenty JRPG coming to PC did you said , yeah plenty of old port, while PS4 will get more and even from their own first party. and that is a fact unless you want me to prove by writing the list and will make this conversation not good for you. And then you mention Bayoneta as JRPG lol, i had a conversation with you about SMT X Fire Emblem and i thought you have a good knowladge about JRPG. Go on write your Wii U list that will satisfied me and the rest of people who buy PS4 and try to convince me and all PS4 owner to sell their PS4 for Wii U LOL. I am here and waiting

I will be enjoying Tales of Zestria and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD when they release this year on PC. The latter is an old game, but it never released in the West until last March, so it is new enough. I will also get to play Xenoblade Chronicles X and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem (later) when I buy a Wii U this holiday. I will play Persona 5 on my PS3. I will play a plethora of JRPGs on my 3DS. Trust me I am not craving JRPGs by not having PS4. Unless you think I want to play every JRPG that will come to be, which I don't. I can miss out on Star Ocean, as the last game wasn't that great, I never finished it, and I'm not a huge fan of the series anyway. I guarantee you that both FFVII and FFXV will be coming to PC. The only JRPG that I will miss out on, which I want, is Kingdom Hearts 3, and by the time that releases I can get a PS4 for under $200 probably.
I mentioned Bayonetta as a Japanese game that ISN'T a JRPG. You seemed to equate Japanese game with JRPG.
Again I was talking about a second platform to complement the first. If somebody has a PC or PS4 then a Wii U makes much more sense as a second platform. It gives an entirely different experience. And I think most people would agree. You can mention niche game number 40, but I can guarantee you that if somebody can get all of the AAA multiplats on either their PS4 or PC (excluding a few for each platform) then they'll be looking to Smash Bros and Mario Kart before they will look toward Star Ocean 5. There are no subsitutes on these platforms for said games.
