Yeah, going with this.
Small projects to fill out the gap in Wii U's library; with cheaper to make games, and spin off titles. And have the rest of the teams work on NX games.
I wonder if, with all the current negativity, now would be a good time to restart the whole Nintendo going third party discussion, which I'm still an advocate of btw.

So what the HELL has Nintendo and Monolith Soft been doing for the past year? Was every single freaking team working on Zelda U?.... What the F. |
Working on NX, the next Zelda will be probably cross platform.
Animal Crossing, Metroit, Next Mario games are all most likely in production for NX, some may be cross platform.
But this E3 really shown that this is the beginning of the end for WiiU.
I really think that the NX is a cross between Console and handheld gaming. Even the 3DS who just got a new model release isn't getting any major announcement. It's sad time to be a Nintendo fan right now. It's pretty amazing WiiU is going to perform worst then gamecube.

No.... not with them announcing NX and still making money. Third party is not happening.

Well, to be fair, I don't think anyone was planning out it having a short life. But like I've said many times before; pissing off some fans versus staying in the game is an easy choice and all signs are pointing towards a replacement very soon. I'll stick with holidays 2016 for new hardware.
The funny part of all the outrage is mist of this should have been known if u bothered to listen at all. It was told to us a while ago that Nintendo would be reusing assets and making more spinoff titles. It was also stated that E3 would be focusing on games releasing this fiscal year and that's exactly what we got.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Damn beat me to it. This still makes it 4-2 to me though!
But it's the only logical scenario at this point. No doubt we'll see it shortly enough.
