Forums - Nintendo - I´m hyped for Star Fox Zero (First impressions are pretty good)

This gonna be bad 8 7.62%

Those Atar 2600 graphics Lol 13 12.38%

One of the few good things about the Digital Event. Regarding the graphics, I've heard somewhere that the playable E3 version looks better than what was shown yesterday.

i need more info before I buy it.

I cant shake the feeling its a remake for some reason. Why is Pigma alive?

Well they said its not completely new game but not completely remake too.

Maybe like Star Fox 64 HD with new levels, vehicles and mechanics.

Day 1 for me

NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, WiiU, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, Mega Drive, Game Gear, PS1, PS2, PSP, XBOX 360, Atari Lynx

looks like an uninspired N64 HD game with gamecube gfx.

In 2015 i expect much more from starfox.

Nintendo need to cater the game to new peopel to grow the franchise not the 1 million core.

It was the only good thing that came from that atrocious conference. Star Fox, Fatal Frame and Rodea are the only Wii U games I'll buy in what is left of the year.

The game doesn't look as bad as some people are making it out to be (Honestly, alone the higher resolution makes it not look like a GCN game...).

Compared with other Wii U games the graphics aren't good, but you have to consider that the game is running on 2 screens with 2 different views.
That basically cuts what they can do graphically on one screen by about 50%.

Nintendo and Platinum will probably polish it, so that it isn't as obvious that the Wii U is not powerful enough for the gamepad, but I won't expect any wonders.

For playing the game, it looks good enough for me and I'll probably be getting it day one.

I think I'm excited about this too. And I've never played a Star Fax game.
Gameplay looks fun and the graphics are okay, albeit could be much better but I've never cared too much about graphics anyway so. Plus there's still some time for them to improve

"Fox! I need you to send this fax to Falco!"

That being said, I think the gameplay looks fantastic from what I've seen. It's really what I've been expected and I trust anything Platinum touches lately so I'm stoked.

I wish the rest of the conference could have impressed me like the first video.
